How customization works
The short answer
TextApprentice is built to fit the business, not force the business to fit the software. We customize the wording, questions, tone and workflow around how you actually operate, and we keep adapting as your needs change.
What gets customized
Your message. The greeting callers hear and the text they receive are written in your business's voice. The wording, the questions you ask, and the tone are all set up around how you actually talk to customers, not a generic template.
Your dashboard. Every missed call, text reply and voicemail lands in one organized view, so you can see what came in, what still needs attention, and what turned into work.
Your workflow. Mark conversations as won jobs and enter the job value to track whether missed-call recovery is paying for itself. Need something handled differently? We work with customers to make the service fit the business.
Customer-led, not feature-led
We are not trying to lock every customer into one rigid workflow. If there is a real problem in the way your calls are handled, talk to us and we will look for a practical way to solve it.
One customer was concerned about callers on landlines who can't text back, so we built an optional voicemail path alongside the text-back flow. Their callers hear the greeting, get the text, and can also leave a message after the beep. The transcription and audio go straight to the owner's phone.
That is the kind of flexibility we mean. A custom solution for a real problem, not a default feature everyone gets.
How to get it customized
It happens during your 10-minute setup call. Tell us about your business, how you talk to customers, and anything unusual about how your calls work. We configure everything around that before your first missed call ever routes to us.
And it does not stop after setup. If something about the workflow is not fitting six months in, tell us and we will adjust it.
